full floater 9 inch

I'm thinking about getting a full floater 9 inch rearend and a Tru Hi 9 inch 3rd member. i was told from currie that its not needed inless your going to flat tow BUT i also read that its good for bigger tires and less weight on the axles. What do you guys think i should do? semi or full?
