headbolt torque?

what about the rockers? i heard 19 ft lbs, but i came across two different specs while searching. to install the rockers bring engine to tdc. check intake pushrods to make sure they are level, and torque.?? is that right? thanks

whats the process? my chiltons says its a three step process. i dont meant the torque seqence(i have that). it says theres a step a,b, and c??

Cylinder head screws are usually torqued in stages anymore - and I tend to do it even when the manual says nothing about it.

I'll run the pattern to 50-75-100-110 pound-feet (skip driver's front on the last run,) and I've not had any trouble.

For the rocker pivot screws, I do 19 pound-feet with the valve closed. No preload or "lash" adjustment needed.

You can find torque specs on my site - culled from FSMs - in the Tech Index.
