So i have a horrible shackle angle out back, i know the norm is to go with the brackets that HD offers, and they're great pieces(don't get me wrong) but i want to look at all my options.
so my alternate plan would be to box in the current shackle box plated on the bottom with support, then get a shackle hangar like RuffStuff's shackle hangar and then run 2 piece shackles made by them to the back of the leafs,
Pro's:
-if i can sell my 1.5" lift shackles from RockyRoad for 50$, the swap would cost me like 40$ in new pieces
-perfect shackle angle due to custom location
Con's:
-its welded on so its not changing if i decide to get a different leaf pack
-some custom fab time (not a huge deal)
thats all i can think of for now, what does everyone think?
