Hello all; New to the forum. Just bought a 92 cherokee larado with the 4.0. Engine has a tapping noise in the top end. goes away with acceleration. is this something usual with the 4.0s? Thanks

I agree, pretty normal for the 4.0, maybe due to the flat-tappet design.
