I'm talking about the 3, 12 point bolts that bolt the wheel bearing/hub onto the truck. I have a 98' 4.0 4x4 5 speed. I'm wondering if anyone knows the bolt size so i can get some 6 point replacements b/c i have a good feeling these 12 points are going to be shot when i get done with trying to remove them.... they seem like they are rusted on there pretty good.

Think twice about 6 point bolts. For starters, those are very hard bolts. Torque spec is 75 ft./lbs. on this tiny little fasteners. Secondly, you can get more torque with less chance of rounding off fasteners with 12 point bolts compared to 6 point bolts. Those bolts are also contoured with a shoulder, the shank is not a straight profile.
