Love how they can close something "temporarily" and not say anything about a reopening date..............

My guess is that the temp. closure is going to be related to erosion control. All the Walker Valley DNR meetings I have attended showed that the DNR people are very interested in keeping the areas open to motorized use in the proper areas with the proper respect to the environment. They get a lot of flak from environmental groups with erosion and runoff being the focus of that flak. Crash and the other guys who run RTW will defenitely have our side of this discussion and are well versed in how to represent us.

If you want to make a difference and ensure that Reiter stays available for off road motorized enjoyment you should contact your congressman and calmly, thoughfully let them know how much trail work, clean up general respect for the environment you put forth in support of our sport.

I hope so. The reiter meetings I have gone to with the DNR present never, I mean never truly answer peoples questions. They are very vague
