Thule Rack

Hey guys i got a TKII fit kit system and before i put on my new rack need to remove the factory cross bars. I heard you remove the bolt at the end(torx) of the sliders and pull the end cap off, but after trying this in the front and the back
i cant get the caps off to slide the cross bars off.

Any hints or is there another way to take off the crossbars?

BFH? sawzall? The BFH worked for me

BFH, or screwdriver. Or be a man. Also it wouldn't hurt to pull a few more of the torx screws out so that you can lift it a little bit.
