Front pinion bearing replacement

How difficult is this? On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being "hell no, pay someone to do it". Can I leave the axle housing in or does the whole unit have to come out of the Jeep? Dana 30 on a 91 XJ.

I can't find anything on madxj about pinion bearing replacement... only the seal... I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I think I may need to do this aswell....
