high idle problem?????

So a couple weeks ago a replaced My IAC because my idle was really high. and it fixed the problem, it was idling around 1000rpm compared to the 2000rpm or sometimes higher.

I had the jeep sitting for the last couple weeks maybe started it up once or twice but I went to drive it today and the idle is back up there and Im not sure what to do???

any suggestions?

check your tps with a volt meter

High idle is usually caused by a vacuum leak.

its a 89 jeep cherokee, 4l auto

today i waited untill the jeep was cold and started it the idle was fine at around 1000rpm so i unplugged the IAC and its running fine..
