RE1463 Center Pin Problem

The center pin on my new leafs is hitting the axle tube and I want to grind it down but not sure if I'll need to shim for correct pinion angle. Has anyone installed the RE6025 lift (3.5") and needed to shim? 2001 Cherokee Sport

Remove the spacer thats under the head of the pin(its there in case you need to run shims).

I did this last November on my 2000...and looking at the angle and available shims, a 2.5 wedge looks like it would help me. I have a SYE also with a 8.25

What RCP Phx said. Put a c-clamp on the spring near the hole then remove the pin and take the spacer off then reinstall the pin.

I have the TW CV driveshaft and SYE from AA, so I decided to just grind down the center pin and it ended up working great. Thanks for the reply's
