a lot of diesel oils, like delo 400, have different additive packages and cleaners that arren't always the best for gas motors, especially high milers. A lot of guys use it as break in oil because of these additives but not really past then. Just something to think about

A lot of us on here use the diesel oils (Rotella T) because we have high mileage motors and want to keep them going.The extra additives are a bonus.

Flat tappet engines love ZDDP, Rotella T 10w30 has ZDDP, Wal-Mart sells a gallon of Rotella T 10w30 with ZDDP for less than $12 per gallon.
Diesel oils are highly detergent, and a clean engine is a happy engine.
