new muffler

Hallo.
I run for 2 years now a muffler from Walker. It is ^&*%$. The rust holes are all over the muffler. Short strips are the problem.
My idea is to puchase a stainless steel one of Borla (pro xs)and place it behind the cat.
The outlets are 2.25. I need an extension of 6" because the Borla muffler is shorter than the Walker.
Someone did this before? My question is how is the sound? Hopefully not too loud. The endpipe stays from Walker.

I have the pro xs on my Cadillac and like it a lot, very mellow but there when you open the throttle

Hallo. I asked Tbburg about his experience.(waiting for his answer). Ehall likes the sound. haha.
But my big question is. is the Borla muffler PRO XS not too loud?
Is it more louder than the OEM muffler? And how much?
I bought this muffler , because it is made of stainless steel and not for the sound!.
A little bit louder is not a problem for me , but very loud is a problem for the people that hate big American Jeeps. (a lot of Prius in my neighberhood) LOL.:listenmus

Hallo. Job done with no problems.
Sound is a little bit lower but not louder!
Finally you can swap your OEM muffler with a stainless steel one without sound problems. :yap:
