Those with Daystar Four Real front bumper

Do you have any d-ring shackles on the front anywhere? I bought the High Country kit that bolts to the front frame, but the bumper is in the way so I can't use them. I was thinking of tig welding some ring mounts to the bumper, but I don't think I'd trust them since the tube is only .120" and it does sit up high for recovery.

The stock XJ bumper is not a suitable recovery point.

What exactly does that have to do with this thread??

My four real bumper has D-ring tabs made in to it.:dunno:

mine did not, the mounting points on the bumper sucked so i sold it.

if you dont trust it sell the bumper and make your own. (since you have a tig)

Not my tig, but honestly, I'd rather fork over a couple hundred bucks for a nice premade one than come up with something and have my guy weld it. I know it sounds bad, but I gotta powdercoat it, yadda yadda yadda. Too busy for that.
