so i have a 90 xj, ax-15, np231. i just replaced all the ignition components, icm, coil, wire set, cap & rotor, and distributor. it was running fine for about half an hour then all of a sudden it stuttered a couple times, died and now it will crank and try to fire a couple times then the power starts fluxing really bad. i tried jumper cables and still same thing. someone help please.

Check your rotor. Some of them have been falling apart. But to be honest with you, I would never replace that much stuff at once. Many new parts fail early in life -- infant mortality. The old parts were time tested.

Not quite sure what "power starts fluxing" means.

I have seen a flux capacitor, in the movies.
