T-case linkage help

The shift linkage on my 231 is all screwed up right now, it is adjusted perfectly and when it works it works great. But since my T&T bellypan is bent up in the center it is pushing my trans and tcase up in the center causing the linkage to be at a odd angle. This is toasting the bushings and causing the linkage to fall out. Has anyone else had this problem and what can I do to fix it? I looked at the Novak but I have heard some mixed reviews about it.
