Hope somebody can help me out here. Someone I know has a teraflex SYE kit that he never installed and wants to part with.
He tells me the part number is 4444401. Looking it up on the Teraflex site (http://www.teraflex.biz/products/231...-wrangler.html) , it's listed for YJ/TJ for the NP231-J, even though he has an XJ.
The XJ teraflex part is listed as 4444402. http://www.teraflex.biz/products/231...-cherokee.html
I called Teraflex tech support to find out if this would fit any NP231-J TC, and the answer was unclear (he sounded busy when answering).
Basically he said the XJ one (4444402) is for the vaccuum disconnect axles and the other is for non-vaccuum.
This doesn't makes too much sense to me.
Any ideas what he was talking about and if the 4444401 would fit an NP231J in a 99 XJ?
