E85 ok in a 97 4.0L?

I am just curious if E85 is ok to run in a 97 XJ with the 4.0L AW4 4x4 because the local BP just got it and its about 30 cents cheaper than regular unleaded. I just want to make sure if I do run it its not gonna eat up mu hoses or o-rings like some of the hype says it will.

From my understanding, E85 is much more corrosive than gasoline, it will ruin your gas tank, your fuel lines and other chite thats expensive to repair...

Also your cpu will have a fit!!!

Im not saying it cant be done... Just dont do it with a stock setup.
You will need new fuel lines, gas tank, injectors...
