i just towed a 2800lb car 800 miles to ga and now experiencing my temp gauge rising a little further than usuall before the electric fan clicks on . do you know what this could be fan clutch sending unit to the electric fan? all i know its not leaking anything.

The fan clutch and the e-fan are separate entities.

They are not connected.

The e-fan kicks on electrically. The relay, although they do stick sometimes, usually crap out altogether.

The fan clutch (mechanical fan) operates from the stuff inside it expanding and making the mechanical fan spin faster, at a percentage of the speed of the motor. Ideally (with a stock clutch) about 65-70% at most.
