d44 brake conversion, ebrake cable

I couldnt decide which thread to add this little bit of info to so I thought a new thread would be ok.

I have a 99 classic with a 87 XJ D44. I did the ZJ disk conversion and was having an issue with the e brake cables. The drivers side cable from a '04 libby will work. Its about 3" longer overall but the ends sticking out of the sheilding end up the right length. It is a direct bolt on to make the e-brake usable on the 97+ rigs.

I hope this helps someone.

Just another tidbit in case you can't get your hands on those cables. Ford 8.8, ZJ, and Tera Flex disc swaps all use the same design of brakes. Other than backing plates, they are all the same. So the cables that M.O.R.E. makes for the XJ to go along with the 8.8 swap will bolt right on............
