Extra bits I took with the JY Taurus fan

Hi Everyone. I found a 95 Taurus wagon with a 3.8 and grabbed the fan. I also grabbed this:

What is it and do I need it? I wasn't sure so I took it.

Looks like thermal circuit breakers. They cut out if the wire gets too hot (due to high current draw) and then reset when it cools off. They protect you the same way as a fuse but they last a long time.
