So I am trying to figure out some stuff and I figured I should ask the pro's.

Right now I have a d30/ 8.8 combo with 3.73's both open.

RE LA's up front

I have a D30/44 combo sitting on my patio with 4.56's and a rear detroit soft locker.

I am getting this for a really good deal, but I am trying to figure out wiether or not to run dual 44's or run a front 44 and rear 8.8.

And should I run the front wishbone setup or stick with the RE Radius Arms?

Is the front 44 good for go fast?

What are your thoughts?

Yes you should, and gimme the 4.56 carrier from the d30 :D

Realistically though, a D44 is fine for go fast, it's weight difference would be the only hindrance, and it isn't much at all. I say 44's front and rear, sell the 8.8 and use that to truss or gear your axles.

As for the suspension, stick with the radius arms, wishbones are temperamental.

I'd rather have the D44, the 8.8 has thin tubes, plus the 44 already has the gears and locker.

Keep the RE suspension and dump the wishbone.

Sounds good. I can try and sell the wishbone setup, but its not welded yet, so idk.

The cross member sounds beefy though.

I will need to weld new mounts on the 44 because there are none welded to it.

Sounds like fun!

Oh and jim, I will probably run the d44/30 combo till I can get the front 44 ready. I will need to sell the 8.8 for $ because I have a feeling this is gonna get expensive.

But once I get it swapped in I will make you a deal, haha

I can't wait till January so I can get my tax refund, lol.
