I have been trying to locate a thread on my question but came up empty.
Does anyone know what backspacing/rim size I would need to run 31x10.5's? I have a 98 XJ with a 2" BB. Most say you can only get 30's under your XJ with a 2" lift, but I would really like to get the 31's.
So I kinda have two trains of thought on this; 1) I want to make sure for the most part the tires are able to stuff up into to the rear wheelwells without getting stuck up in there (so maybe a stock 15x7 with 5.25 backspace would work). And 2) Keep the tires from rubbing on the LCA's with flex while turning (so I might be looking at less of backspacing then factory like say 4.75).
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
