So my rear shock bushings are trashed and I got new ones. The old ones were not sleeved. Aren't they supposed to be? Otherwise it's metal to rubber and they will get trashed again. I am unable to find any at parts stores. Any ideas other than buying a pipe? Are they needed?

Thats the way they are supposed to be!

I always figured that after the bolt is tightened down on the sleeve it'll be metal on rubber with no slip either way, so I gave up caring.

Thanks for the help. Any good wheeling in Mass? Moving to Newport, R.I. in October.

You probably want to talk to billyjp2 and a bunch of the other guys around here, not me... I'm still a silly stocker till this weekend and even then it'll be a pretty tame rig :shhh: I think there is some out in the berkshires in western mass / eastern NY though.

No problem, always willing to help out with mechanical stuff.
