I had a bent push rod... which i assumed the lifter had collapsed, so I took the head off. the lifters have two parts to them, the lifter then like a sleeve over the lifter Im not sure if that is considered the lifter as well. I removed the inside part of a lifter with a magnet and the lifter looked fine, Does anyone have like a break down of the lifters and the camshaft, I couldnt see if my camshaft is worn because there is something else between the lifters and the cam i dont know what to do from here...

any advice ?

Hydralic lifters have two parts and the oil that gets between those two parts is what makes them work. Always replace lifters and pushrods as a set.
