I can't wait. I am heading to mammoth for 7 days right after Labor day. Going to explore a little, then hook up with a group to camp at Funnel lake and some where else above 11k

That nice long trip to Coyote Flats is next on my list. Have you done any fishing up at funnel, rock bottom, or baker? Have you ever hiked to Thunder and Lighgting lake? If so hows the hike and fishing?
