Ok, Ive searched many threads and I had the rear seal replaced and still slinging fluid onto the Cat and smoking (MMM a good smell)
The shaft does have a little play in it on the "In and Out Motion". Nothing up/down or around.
The t-case had the RE Hack and Tap installed last year and and it was fine. After a long 2 day highway trip I did not notice anything and then next day after arriving I noticed it leaking.
So what is behind the rear tail shaft cone that would be causing the leak?
I want to pull the rear shaft cover off to see what the shaft looks like around where the seal is to see if it has any grooves in it.
Am I on the right track? Any ideas?
I will pick up another seal tomorrow since I have the yoke off and the shaft exposed again.
Thanks
Mac
