96 XJ - Passengers Door Stuck Locked (partially open)

On the 1996 XJ that I picked up with manual locks/windows, the passengers side door is stuck locked and partially open. I can't unlock it from the outside with the key, nor from the inside using the lock switch (they move but it doesn't unlock the door). I also cannot close the door all the way from the outside.

Does anyone have experience with this and how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated

Dahaha. Was able to get wd40 in the latching mechanism and it freed it. Figured it was something more serious, but this thing has been sitting long enough that none of the doors had been opened in quite some time.

I would now remove the latch assembly clean it and re-grease it on all the doors. Or at least just remove the door panel and grease them up really well.
