Replaced my starter, forgot to check the location of the wires running to the solenoid. Does it matter which terminal gets the ground and which gets the power? TIA

Hallo. The big wire coming from the battery is always hot.
If you connect it to the wrong solenoid post, the starter will only spin.

Aren't there just two wires with different connector ends? I didn't think they could hook up more than one way. The little wire from the relay should go to the solenoid plug. The big one from the battery should go to the big stud and nut connection.
