It is a shame. Saw on CBS News last night, the most traded-in vehicles for the program are:

1. Explorer

2. Cherokee

3. Grand Cherokee

All those u-pull-it parts...gone.

They are actually sold to wrecking yards after they seize the motor. I work at Binford Metals and we are getting about 50 of them. Anything that is 90 or newer and has a nice body usually goes out to the yard to be sold for parts. Older ones usually get processed and we crush them. Vehicles cannot be resold as complete cars after they have have gone threw the Cash for Clunkers deal.

That is very good to hear! thanks dan.
What on the engine doesnt get damaged from the glass? intake up I would assume?

let me know when you get a 99+ in there :) It would be worth the trip to kent for an intake.
