I jus bought a 1999 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 4x4 and would like to know what is the best 4 inch lift kit and tires to match the lift. Also after a i pay this truck off (4-5 yrs), i want to go big (stroked and sprayed v8 with a built 4 speed) so Im wondering what kinda tranny, tcase and front and rear diffs would i need to take this kinda power? i will also bring it to the track mayb.

welcome ned. to better answer your questions we need to know what you want out of your jeep. how you intend to use it? how do you feel about a sawzall? how much money you want to spend and what is your end goals. oh and the search is your friend many questions can be answered there. as they say help us help you.

If you are gonna go BIG, in my opinion, find a donor vehicle, like a k5 blazer or another big truck with everything. That will take care of axles, tcase, and maybe engine and tranny. with a 4" lift, you can clear 33's with trimming. Alot of guys stroke there I6's or drop sb350's in there XJ's, and swap in d44's out of a wagoneer. That is what I see.

well for now my goal for the jeep is too make it a different cherokee from every other jeep i see so i figure a 4 inch lift with 32 or 33's would b nice. wat would i hav to trim?? also i jus want to hav a nice off road truck for now.

doesnt look bad. youll need new shocks, soft ones...

youll need longer brake lines, either from a wrangler, or just aftermarket cherokee ones.

im not sure, but it looks to me like you get rear coils... the way they describe it... i would call up and see because if thats the case. keep looking other wise youll be in wayyy to deep trying to fab bracketry.

call up first, get details, then report

id call that first place first. i forget they were longarm. see all the details. if its rear coils, forget it... if not, id say do that and build off it. do it good the first time. although at 345 i doubt its a true long arm...

If you get only a 4 in lift you will need to trim to fit 33's i would suggest buying some rusty cut out flares or bushwacker flares to make the cuts look cleaner. and the superlift isn't a bad lift jsut call them and figure out their packages you might get a deal.

Welcome, try www.TnTCustoms.com . Allot of the guys have this kit and swear by it. Good Luck. :read:
