Crown SYE problems.

I installed a Crown SYE into my 231 about a year ago, and its been fine up untill now. I was under the jeep today, and for what ever reason i was twisting the rear drive shaft. While i was screwing with the drive shaft i noticed there was up and down movement from the output shaft from the back of the 231, like you can jiggle the output about 1/8 inch up and down and left to right. Any ideas? Maybe ill just rebuild the whole thing?

Sounds like a bad or loose output bearing. You can probably just replace the bearing and seal.

Keep us updated on what it is I found the same problem last week on mine.
