Paddle tire question...

I found a really good deal on some paddles for the rear of my Heep...
I was wondering if anyone has ran em before?
If so how much beefing up the rear end do I have to do? I have an 8.8 im swapping in in the next few weeks... I have a few months before riding season again so I have a lil bit of time to build the driveline before I actually take it out.

It really depends on the size of paddle and how much power your making. If your just a 4.0 and a 30" paddle a stock 8.8 will live for a while.

Yeah, its a stock HO and they are actually 30s.
Im thinking about swapping out the stock axles and running some alloys.

The biggest thing your going to gripe about is the huge amount of power the paddles are going to suck up, but they make glamis sand feel like pavement.

ahh... really? That bad?
Thats where I was gonna use them due to the fact that its 2wd.

What kinda tires do people run in the fronts? I have some A/Ts... will that work?

Yeah it takes alot of power to turn paddles. I wouldnt even try them on my xj. I run 33x12.5 TSL SSR's and they dig alot. Way more than id like but they were cheap. I just air them down to 5 psi
