Engine cutting out a 3000 rpm

My jeep just recently started to cut out at 3000 rpm in 4th and 5th gear only and I can't figure out what it might be. I can accelerate all the way up to 3000 rpm but then it is like I have an engine break any where above this slowing me back down. I can't hear any thing grinding or knocking and the fact that it cut out at the same place in both gears makes me think it might be something electrical. I was thinking it could possibly be the throttle body sensor at first but I replaced that a year ago and my jeep was acting a little more eratic then it is now.

Any thoughts on what might be going on?

Check your fuel pressure at idle, then duct tape the gauge to your windshield and drive it so you can see what happens with your fuel pressure when it cuts out.
