Banging sound in the front end while turning

i bought my old xj back after 4 years. when i go it the wheel u joints were gone. jeep was banging bad when i turned. so i replaced them and the sound still seems to be there. i have a 4.5" lift w/ no sway bar right now. anyone haven an idea what it it could be. both hubs were replace just before i i got it. thanks

Check the trac bar bracket and the bushings or TRE's on trac bar.

Oh and you might check the motor mounts also..

Might seem obvious, but are you sure it's not in 4 wheel drive. If your linkage is not adjusted correct the lever might be in 2 wheel but the t-case could still be in 4 wheel. That would cause binding while your turning.
