I just bought a 1990 xj that wont start . I do not have any idea what I am doing when it comes too a jeep this is my first one . I was told that the engine is from a 96 . A friend of mine told me to replace the cps . Before I changed the cps I did a ohm test and i got a reading the book said you should not get a reading . I installed a new cps and still wont start . I checked the new cps and i got a reading . now I am confused I am suposetoo see a reading or not? I hope the I am not Hasta on this one.
I am also wondering what the 4 relays are for under the hood behind the battery?
