So, I've got the Daystar replacement front bumpstops...I've removed the originals, and got the new ones inside the coil without having to remove the coil.
Problem one- The new bump stops appear to have a larger diameter than the originals....
Problem two- They won't easily go into the mount!
I've jacked the axle back up, in order to apply some pressure to said bumpstop without success. I've even managed to turn it 180* within the coil and try to insert the opposite end...it is narrower, with no success. I've applied grease to the opening on the mount, as well as the bumpstop with no success.
As it sits, the Daystar bumpstop is upside down, with the weight of the truck on it, and it ain't goin' in............The front passenger side suspension is fully compresses with the truck off the jack stands.....
ANY THOUGHTS????? :dunno: Thanks!
