Built '88 XJ feeler

Thinking about selling my '88 XJ and going to the "frame" side (TJ or YJ). I'm 80% sure I want to sell it but I have my days where I want to keep it. Let me know what you guys think. Looking to get around 6k. Here's a breif discription and a few pics:

- Replaced 4.0L Renix motor with pulled motor…approx. 95k miles. Odom reads about 155k.
- New open cooling system (new 3 core radiator) Never comes close to overheating.
- M.O.R.E. motor mounts
- ’96 brake booster/master cylinder
- ARB compressor
- 242 transfer case w/ SYE
- D30 front, ARB locker w/ Alloy shafts,4.88 gears, Dynatrac Diff cover
- D44 rear, ARB locker w/ Alloy shafts,4.88 gears, Dynatrac Diff cover
- 8” LA Rock Krawler kit
- ¾” coil spacer in front
- Currie Heavy Duty Tie Rod System
- 15x8 steel rims
- 37x12.5x15 Iroks – 75% (35x12.5x15 BFG Mud spare on a steel rim)
- C-channel bumpers
- NO RACK…I sold it a few months ago.
Has a/c but blows cool not cold. I will replace the compressor if someone wanted.

That's a cool truck, but not too trail friendly. I'm looking to get a good platform for a long term rig. Yeah it's a great XJ and I have second thoughts of saling it but the CJ, YJ and TJ's are always on my mine and I feel that's waht I really want even though I love my XJ. The think flexes awesome and goes everywhere. Oh yeah...I have TNT frame stiffeners on it as well. Here's a few other pics:

What would I do with a Honda Civic hatchback? I'd want my XJ back and drive over it. I'm leaning more to selling it now.
$5,500.
 
Yeah I know. For some reason I'm really wanting to build a TJ or YJ with a small lift maybe 3" - 4" max and 37's. I really like the LCG and lightweight concept. It makes a lot of sense.
 
go drive one for a day or two first. Or better yet wheel one.

I wanted to do the same, until I drove one. Then I realized I like the XJ better :)

I wish you could buy it. The main reason for selling the XJ is the talk of starting a family. After a kid comes there won't be any money for a Jeep fund and I want to get a TJ fairly built before a kid comes so I can be satified until I can get some play money back. If I can't sell it, I will more than likey keep it and build the XJ up more. I just know that I want a TJ in the end, so it kills me to put more money into the XJ.

this is project Evil Monkey... I know the owner of that rig... Guy did everything by himself along with his now fiancée... Awesome Jeep extremely capable...
