There is no fee for registering on the NAXJA Forums.  All forums outside of the Members-Only Area are FREE and open to the public.  Much like a full function shareware, without the nag screen. Be sure to read the rules before posting.

The one exception to the issue of "FREE" is that since this is a busy site that requires financial support to keep it active, COMMERCIAL LINKS AND ADVERTISEMENTS WITHIN POSTS WILL BE DELETED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE FORUM ADMINISTRATOR. There is no censorship that will prevent ANYONE from stating a point of view, as long as a few simple rules are followed:

  • If you become irritated a particular post, thread, or author, DON'T RESPOND!!
  • Aside from the posting of up coming events, club business does not take place on the public forums. PERIOD!
  • NO PERSONAL ATTACKS! There is going to be ribbing and teasing among friends, but when posts turn into personal attacks THEY'RE DELETED AT THE ADMINISTRATORS DISCRETION!!
  • Open, and sometimes heated debate will be allowed on the Non Tech Forum, but we will NOT ALLOW debate to escalate into a flame war.  Again, judgment is at the discretion of the admin.
  • Out of courtesy to the majority, we will try to keep the boards "on subject". Occasionally posts will accidentally be made on the wrong board. When we CHOOSE to move an inadvertently posted message, a notice of this will be left.
  • Posts containing profanity, for the sake of profanity will be DELETED!  Everything will be considered within the context of the given situation. Again, judgment is at the discretion of the admin., and the guidelines determined by consensus of the NAXJA Board of Directors

    These Terms and Conditions create an agreement applicable to your use of our services at NAXJA.org. We may amend this agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on our Site. Acceptable Conduct
This Site includes photos as well as interactive forums, including chat functions and bulletin boards. These forums may be used only for non-commercial purposes. By using any forum or interactive areas, you agree not to do any of the following:
  • Upload to, distribute or otherwise publish through this Site any photograph, image, graphic, message, data, information, text or other material ("Content") that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, contains nudity or is otherwise objectionable;

    NAXJA takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any Content posted or uploaded by you or any third party, or for any mistakes, defamation, slander, libel, omissions, falsehoods, obscenity, pornography or profanity you may encounter. As a provider of interactive services, NAXJA is not liable for any statements, representations or Content provided by its users in any public forum or interactive area on the Site.

Monitoring
    NAXJA has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and Content associated with any public forums and interactive areas, or any other areas on the Site.
    NAXJA may investigate any reported violation of its policies or complaints and take any appropriate action that it deems appropriate. Such action may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspension or termination of service, and/or removal of posted Content.

Only A Forum
The public forums and interactive areas on the Site act as the venue for users to post their own Content, including photographs and hyperlinks. NAXJA does not and cannot review all Content posted or uploaded to the Site, and is therefore not responsible for this Content. You acknowledge that by providing you with the ability to distribute your Content on the site, NAXJA is merely acting as a passive conduit for such distribution and is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any Content.
    You may find other user's Content to be offensive, harmful, inaccurate, or deceptive. Please use caution and common sense when using our Site.

License & Idea Submission

   All right title and interest in individual photographs and messages posted on the Site will remain the exclusive property of the individual owner of the applicable photograph or post, and NAXJA claims no copyright or other proprietary right in these works. However, NAXJA does hold a copyright interest in the entire contents of the Site (in the aggregate) as a collective work under the United States and other copyright laws. The collective work includes works that are licensed to NAXJA. Copyright 2000 NAXJA, Inc., ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. The collective work may also include works that are the property of NAXJA's licensers, which are also protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
