Re: playing with my cutter Jeep Jeep Jeep Jeep

I got this one for $1300 plus all the little tools and 12 rolls of vinyl bringing it to $1700 total. It basically plugs in via USB or serial and then acts like a printer (with a few extra settings). This one is a graphtec CE5000-60. I have not had a chance to play much only a few small things so far. But I am doing a nieghbors Van and will be putting up a decal website at some point. I really want to do wall graphics for houses but I need different vinyl.

It will cut card stock, vinyl, sand balsting mask, paint masking. all sorts of stuff. the cut area is 24" wide.

Thats quite possibly the funniest thing I heard today. I used to put rainbow stickers on my bosses truck just under the tailgate and above the bumper. He would come in pissed off because of the honks and looks he would get from people. They would be on there for months before he realized it!

One of our managers was tagging employee cars with bumper stickers that read "I *heart* Midgets", and "I *heart" @nal". I thought it was incredibly funny until my mother-in-law told me I had the later sticking to the front valance of our Dodge when we stopped by for a visit.
My cousin and I did this to his neighbor/good friend one night - slapped a "Honk if you want to see my t1ts" sticker on the back window of his work car. He kept getting honked at on his way to work (family-owned company), couldn't figure out what the deal was. His ultra-conservative German mother was the one that found the sticker on her way back in from lunch. He wasn't too happy, but years later, we laugh.

Because most of us have bought and continued to maintain Jeeps that would have been thrown away years ago by sane people?

We have a much older Gerber Vinyl Cutter like that at work. I used it to make a Jeep sticker for my laptop.
