Not a canoe. I call Lake Superior around the Keweenaw my waters. And some stuff near Green Bay.

There is some stuff, not as plentiful as one would hope. Both those pictures were taken in the U.P. One at school and the other on what used to be Hwy 141.

Re: Canoes on Jeeps...pin 'em up here

I miss those waters up there. Been a couple of years since I last spent time along lake superior, in Gran Marais. That's an excellent pic of your Jeep and witht he fall colors... Major withdrawl for me...

Off of the bow of my canoe, Gulliver Lake in U.P Michigan, not far from Lake Michigan;

Tahquamenon Falls;

Gran Marais, Lake Superior;

Gran Marais, Lake Superior, Devil's Slide;

Beautiful Country... I love the U.P. Michigan... Been going there all of my life.

I'll do it. I usually head up that way end of June, first weeks of July.

Sorry, couldn't resist

Nobody ever said what kind of Jeep or how old the pic could be.

BTW. That old red and white canoe my grandfather hand built out of wood and aircraft fabric. It's still hanging in my parents garage 60 years after it was built.

How about kayaks? This was last month on the way to Lake Powell.

That was a GREAT trip!

Alex, I just read your trip report on E-Utah. What an awesome trip! I'm truly jealous.

Re: Canoes on Jeeps...pin 'em up here

It was a life changing experience. I am considering trading the Cherokee in for a houseboat. Lake Powell has everything I go jeeping for... with the added element of a huge lake!
