Aluminum radiator

So I was looking on EBay. My cheap Spectra radiator lasted a whopping year. Tank seals already ready leaking. The Last Aluminum super single core radiator I bought off eBay for my 87 ran me over $200. Now they seem to be the same price as a Napa Spectra or AutoZone. Around a 100. Is Aluminum this cheap. Or are these crap? Thanks

Re: Aluminum radiator

I have a 2 row aluminium Champion radiator I bought off eBay. Lots of people speak badly of them but I've had mine for 2 years without any problems. It fit well and cools great. Couldn't beat the price for a high capicity radiator.

Re: Aluminum radiator

Can't speak badly of any particular brand, but aluminum radiators in general do not last in XJs. I've run csf 3 row all metal radiators in all my XJs and MJs for over a decade...have not had a failure yet on any of them. They also cool very well.

Spend a couple bucks more and it'll last forever.

It's also available on amazon considerably cheaper, but if you paste amazon links, they raise the price. Just search CSF 2671
