bigger intake hose?

Any suggestions for replacing the convoluted stock air intake hose with something that isnt as restrictive? I'm wanting to retain the stock air box and plan to route it into the cowl.

Re: bigger intake hose?

What makes you think it is restrictive at all?

Re: bigger intake hose?

Buy some Mishimoto silicone intake bends and some aluminum tube.

The stock hose is made that way to kill sound. I assure you the volume is more than sufficient for your 4.0 just not as smooth of flow. Which in reality isn't affecting your performance in any measurable amount.

But if you are planning on running it in the cowling, noise is clearly not on your list of worries.
