It followed me all the way from the airport. It looked lonely, and like it wanted to play. 'Wonder if I can keep it. ('wonder if I can afford to keep it,... )

Well, they would have been daytime pics, but at 4:00PM I got a call about water leaking from a ceiling. At 5:30PM, I had replaced the condensation pan responsible for the leak, but it was looking like I wasn't going to get off at 4:30PM. Kinda threw my whole schedule off by an hour.
Spec list: It's an old Class 7S truck with working air conditioning. :D
Airport was Phoenix Sky Harbor.
Did You flat towed it home?
Yup.

I'll give ya a dollar for it.........only if you deliver to IN! :D

Dude! What the,...

...,did you even look at the hi-res photos? It has an Ox locker! It ought to be worth at least,... I don't know, 10? Besides, it followed ME home. :D

An ox? Shoot its gotta be worth $13, way out of my price range!

...,a friend of a friend bought it some months ago so he could race the NORRA 1000 with the intention of re-selling it afterwards.
That's the one. It came out of Kingman AZ originally. Not sure how it placed in the -1K, they said it finished.

Derrick saw it on RDC the first time around & forwarded the link to me. By the time I looked at it, it had been sold. It came back up local & I picked it up this time around.

The plan(if there is such a thing) is to put it in 7300 or 7100 BITD and run it next year while Derrick puts the 7118 truck back together(needs sheet metal work and bracing under the nose)

Any way around, it's going to need some TLC and a lot of parts to bring it up to date,... :confused1 as per usual,...

Here you go Tone,...

Those for sale stickers coming off?
They're already gone,.. Spent the late afternoon de-stickering the whole truck Probably lost 50 HP :D
Lets shoot for Primm!
Don't want to start at Parker?
How about running with Jeepspeed.
As much as I'd like to run Jeepspeed, the fact is I don't have the money or support to be competitive at that level. The BITD 7300/7100 classes are fairly inexpensive due to rule book constraints. (you can't spend a lot on suspension if you have to use stock components and stock pick-up points.)While we have yet to finish a race in the 7118 truck, When we're moving, we tend to be moving faster then the rest of the field.(Ford Rangers right down the line.)Whereas the 1700 Jeepspeed cars pass by us jumping like rabbits with a 10-15 mph speed advantage in the rough.
How well did it tow? I was thinking of flat towing my YJ with my xj to the trails till I get a tow dolly.
I'll send you a PM.
