Strange problem...

The other day I stopped my rig to fire off some 4th fireworks..and when I went to restart it...it turned over as normal...then just stopped....I couldn't even get it to jump start. Put a new battery in it and it fired right off...just one problem...it doesn't want to idle well...sometimes it just plane quits when the R's are low.
It runs fine and starts without any problems...just will quit ever now and again... I'm puzzeled about this one...
Any help here?

I would give a guess of a problem in the EGR system somewhere. Maybe you threw something off by trying to jump it?

Check the Auto Shut Down relay. (fuse block under hood)

Would this be a bad relay?
And what relay (location in box) is it?
Or should I just look it up?
There was a vibration noise in the fuse box when I couldn't get it to fire...

Look in the fuse block under the hood above the passenger side wheel well. On a 96 the fuses and relays are labled on the lid of the fuse box. I had a similar problem, ASD fixed it.
