8.8 anti wrap

Yes I've searched and no I didn't find squat. Did some late (95+) explorers come with a factory traction/anti wrap bar? I found a 98? W 4.10 lsd (pulled the cover) but there is a control arm that mounts to a bracket welded just above the driver's side perch centerline to the axle and essiently a bolt on eye mount on the framerail. It doesn't seem to be adjustable, was this an option? When I come back from hbl should I grab it with the axle? Can I buy new bushings for it, they're shot.

Some Explorers had an extra rear shock, mounted laterally
between axle housing and frame member, that acted as an anti-wrap device.

my friends 2000 mountaineer with the 5.0 has the extra shock on the rear axle

Not sure where your headed with this, but I built this about 10yrs ago for my son's rig!

I've seen a few of those arms on explorers. You don't need to grab it.

Traction bar is real nice to have with 35" + tires.
