Where are the date and "Bill of Materials" numbers on the D30?

Look for the "Date" and "Bill of Materials" stamps for the D30. I've cleaned it and wiped the long axle tube, but can't find it. The ratio tag has nothing that resembles a date on it.

When you order parts, the Bill of Materials number is important. Anyone know where to find it?

I found mine 6 years or so ago.........don't remember where on the d30 it was.

Hasn't been important to me since.

And unless you are going to order from Dana, it ain't important.

Thank you for your help. The website I linked to above sells original Dana/Spicer parts at good prices. They need the BOM number.

Anybody else know where it is?

Thank you for the link. There is snow on the ground, so I was hoping someone would know off the top of their head, so I spend less time crawling around in the snow.

Turns out ... it's the same number as on the tag.

Much appreciated.
