I didnt care since its getting rebuilt and geared soon.

But i might fab up a small truss for it with some scrap i got around

I would also put cage, harness, and helmet on the list with jumping.

yea pretty much i planned on stiffening the unibody very soon anyway, and an exo-cage was a def plan after i get back from my upcoming deployment

Held up fine today though with 2 jumps on it

im talking about the housing. the axle tubes are weak and so are the inner c's

Well, i didnt build a jeep not to beat on it,if it breaks ill deal with it then

Either way,jumping it was fun; wasnt in the plans for the day. but it was there so i figured "when in rome"

you do things to prevent breakage, like trussing. i guess with a stock geared 30 it doesnt matter. they are a dime a dozen.

You can build it however much you want. There will always be a weak link that is most vulnerable to breaking. Bigger axles are in my future plans most likely a 9"/44

Not going to take an easy though and not use it to its full potential though

And like you said a stock geared 30 is a dime a dozen,just gotta swapmy chromosand locker over,no big deal there
