Cruise control cable

I have a 92 xj with cruise control.
The plastic part on the end of the cable that attaches to the throttle valve is broken.
I understand there is a replacement part for this, or do I need to replace the entire cable?
Sources of where I can find both/either?

The cable should be part number 5207 7909. If the cable itself is OK, you may be able to get a "Ball Socket" cable end and crimp/swage it on.

I would like to try crimping the end, but where do I find the proper end piece? It is the plastic end piece that is broken.
If that does not work, how/where do I find the part number 5207 7909?

I have used clips from ATP to replace broken clips on the speed control and transmission cable. The clip slides onto the cable, I secure them with a small zip-tie

Do you know which one will work to replace the cruse control clip on a 99? My plastic piece broke just like the OP.
