Hello all! :) I just finished the airbrush work on this one!

The Jeep is a almost normal XJ build - 4.5 lift, 33' tires, homebuilt sliders, winch plate, and grill. She has an aluminum radiator recently added. The sliders were built out of an old car wash - galvanized square steel. The hood vents are stainless steel house floor vents. the stainless custom grill was made by my husband to match the new airbrushed paint job I was working on.

What is not so typical is the airbrush paint job I just completed on her. I just finished her clear coat on Sunday - put back the snorkel and lights. She does not have her roof rack or winch back on yet. I used a white primer and white base coat then redone the dragon scale areas blue. It is not the same blue she was.

Damn, I'm having a flashback to the 60's and 70's, or at least the parts I remember. I did a lot of skulls back then. I even did the lace thing.

All I know is that when you do airbrushing on a Jeep, it turns it into a rock magnet.

A Rock magnet is fine with me--- I have paint to fix it. :) Besides she is just my practice piece and I done her with a "distressed" look - so body damage fits the motif!

Yeah - I know!!! I am going to repaint those along with some other stuff....... but this is all the painting until spring. I have the 31 days of Halloween - costumes all 31 days and putting up a home haunt. Then Christmas decorations...... tons of stuff.
