Shock Absorber Recommendation Needed

What shock absorbers provide the smoothest ride available?

Looking for shocks for my wife’s daily driver – a ’99 WJ.

for pure smooth, I'd say OME. Pricey though.

Not sure weather its the springs or shocks but i sure like my ome kit, and i think worth the money would do it again in a heartbeat

OME, but a set of adjustable Rancho 9000's will do you nicely. You can adjust them to the setting that makes you happiest.

I can get all four OEM from chryslerpartsdirect for about $295 + shipping.

I guess that's not too bad.

Any other suggestions?

i would say the monroe reflex(?) my friend had them on his old truck they rode pretty good...

LOL! Yeah, OEM= Original Equipment (from) Manufacturer. OME= Old Man Emu.

A simple set of yellow Monroes ride nice too - I bought a set barely used and put 'em on a stocker '98 I sold a while back - rode better, less harsh than the stockers I removed from it.
